A quick search shows quotes ranging from CNY 15/kg to CNY 35/kg — a spread wider than the PET ratio itself. Some buyers say the CNY 15 domestic general-purpose grade works fine; others insist only the CNY 35 imported high-heat grade counts as premium. Where does the difference really lie?
Honestly, anyone asking "how much is ABS/PET per kilo" probably has not yet understood that ABS/PET is not a single material — general-purpose, high-heat, high-impact, high-flow and flame-retardant grades each carry a different price. Comparing a general-purpose quote with a high-heat one is not price comparison; it is how you get fooled.
ABS/PET is an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene/polyethylene terephthalate alloy that combines ABS's ease of processing with PET's chemical and heat resistance. It is commonly used in electronics, automotive parts, industrial machinery, appliance housings and structural parts.
