国产POE(中石化/惠生等中企)

How much is POE per kilogram?
POE is not one material: film, food-grade, high-transparency, and each carries a different price.
1. Mainstream grade quotes (imported + domestic) — recent market references; live prices subject to same-day inquiry.
Dow
Engage 8150, general-purpose high-flow, approx. CNY 13-18/kg. wire and cable; film; toughening.
Engage 8200, weather-resistant impact-resistant, approx. CNY 12.6-13.8/kg. automotive parts; outdoor products.
Engage 8401, high-transparency food-grade, approx. CNY 15-19/kg. packaging film; medical devices.
Engage 8003, food-grade high-temperature, approx. CNY 18/kg. plastics modification; food contact.
Engage 8999, approx. CNY 9.9/kg. general toughening.
ExxonMobil

Domestic film, approx. CNY 13-17/kg. film; packaging.
2. Why prices differ so much
Four factors: (1) composition — lower levels are cheaper; higher levels give better performance but cost more. (2) melt flow index — premium grades need special formulations and cost more. (3) application — special applications need special formulations or certification and cost more. (4) Brand and origin — imports carry a premium but offer batch stability; for the same grade, imports cost 30-50% more than domestic, paying for quality control and R&D.
3. Procurement pitfalls
The cheapest material often fails on performance and triggers customer returns. Three traps to avoid:
First, test melt flow index and density against the COA instead of trusting the grade name — performance of the same grade can fluctuate between batches. Second, watch out for substitution fraud: some traders pass off cheaper or recycled material as the real thing; demand the COA, a test report and original packaging before use. Third, don't compare unit price alone — calculate total cost per finished part, including rejected-goods loss; a higher-priced grade with a 1% defect rate is often cheaper than a low-priced one with 5% rejects.
4. Standard grades not enough? Consider modified compounds
If standard grades always fall short — for example you need flame retardancy AND high transparency, reinforcement AND chemical resistance, or low cost AND food grade — you don't need standard POE, you need a modified compound. Ningbo Kolong New Materials is developing high-performance modified POE solutions covering glass-fiber reinforcement, flame retardancy, weatherability and conductivity. Message us for a modified POE quote reference — it saves not only money but also trial-and-error time.
In plain terms: standard grades are a big pot of shared rice; modified compounds are a dish cooked to order. The higher your requirements, the more you need customization.
5. Popular grades — same-day quotes via message
All prices above are references; POE prices change daily as feedstocks and exchange rates move. If you need same-day quotes for specific grades, message us and we will send a live price sheet. No beating around the bush — real numbers.
Final words
Unit price is the threshold; choosing the right grade and performance is the baseline. Do the math per finished part, add rejected-goods loss, and you will know who is truly cheap and who is truly expensive.
