二、同是EVA,价差凭什么这么大
EVA的价格差,主要藏在四个地方。
第一,VA含量不同。VA含量6%左右便宜,含量28%以上柔韧性好但贵。VA含量越高,柔韧性和透明度越好,但耐热性越差。
第二,用途不同。发泡级便宜,热熔胶级适中,光伏级贵。光伏级需要超高纯度和特殊认证,价格更高。
第三,熔指不同。低熔指便宜,高熔指贵。高熔指需要特殊工艺,价格更高。
第四,品牌和产地。进口溢价高但批次稳定,国产性价比高但牌号多。同样是热熔胶级,日本三井比国产贵20-30%,贵的是品控和研发。
三、采购避坑:别让VA含量骗了你
我见过太多采购,比价比到最后选了最便宜的七块的,然后做出来的发泡鞋材弹性差、热熔胶粘不牢、客户退货,一次损失够买半年的好料。
EVA采购这行,水比你想的深。三个坑必须绕开:
第一,看VA含量和熔指不看牌号。同一个牌号不同批次性能可能波动,拿到料先测VA含量和熔指,和COA对得上再用。别听销售说"差不多",差不多就是差很多。
第二,警惕以次充好。有些贸易商拿PE当EVA卖,拿低VA含量当高VA含量卖。要COA、要VA含量检测、要原厂包装,三证合一才敢用。
第三,别只比单价,算综合成本。A料单价7块,做出来发泡鞋材次品率5%;B料单价12块,次品率1%。算到每双鞋上,B料反而更便宜。

Quotes range from CNY 7/kg to CNY 25/kg. EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer) is not one material: foaming, injection, extrusion, hot-melt and photovoltaic grades each carry a different price. Comparing a foaming-grade quote with a photovoltaic one is not price comparison; it is how you get fooled.
EVA offers good flexibility, low-temperature resistance and chemical resistance, and is used in foamed shoe materials, hot-melt adhesives, photovoltaic encapsulant film, film and wire and cable.

2. Why prices differ so much
Four factors: (1) VA content — around 6% is cheap; above 28% gives better flexibility and transparency but worse heat resistance, and costs more. (2) Application — foaming is cheap, hot-melt mid-range, photovoltaic expensive; photovoltaic grades need ultra-high purity and special certification. (3) Melt flow index — high MFI needs special processing and costs more. (4) Brand and origin — for the same hot-melt grade, Mitsui costs 20-30% more than domestic, paying for quality control and R&D.
3. Procurement pitfalls
The cheapest material often gives poor foam elasticity or weak hot-melt bonding, causing returns. Three traps to avoid:
First, test VA content and melt flow index against the COA instead of trusting the grade name. Second, watch for substitution: some traders sell PE as EVA or low-VA as high-VA; demand the COA, a VA-content test and original packaging. Third, calculate total cost per pair of shoes: A at CNY 7/kg with a 5% defect rate vs. B at CNY 12/kg with 1% — B is cheaper.
4. Standard grades not enough? Consider modified compounds
If you need high VA AND high heat resistance, photovoltaic grade AND low cost — you need modified EVA.
