国产HSBC(山东巨定/湖北尹杰等中企)

How much is HSBC per kilogram?
Quotes range from CNY 14/kg to CNY 40/kg. HSBC (High Styrene Butadiene Copolymer) is not one material: general, high-styrene, modified, shoe-material and flooring grades each carry a different price.
HSBC has a styrene content of typically 60-85%, making it harder than ordinary SBR. It is used in shoe soles, flooring, and toughening modification of ABS/PS/AS.
1. Mainstream grade quotes (imported + domestic) — recent market references; live prices subject to same-day inquiry.
Zeon (Japan)
Nipol HS860, general high-styrene rubber, approx. CNY 15-17/kg. Hard soles, heels, tires, flooring.
Nipol HS260, high-styrene grade, approx. CNY 16-18/kg. High-hardness products, toughening modification.
Eni (Italy)
HSR HS630, emulsion SBR, high styrene, approx. CNY 14/kg. Replacement for Japan HS860; general grade.
Domestic HSBC (Shandong Juding, Hubei Yinjie and other Chinese producers)
Domestic HS860, general-purpose, approx. CNY 15-17/kg. Cost-effective; soles, flooring, toughening.
Domestic HS-60, high strength, aging-resistant, approx. CNY 16.5/kg. Reinforced mechanical strength, vulcanizable.
Domestic modified grade, for ABS/PS/AS toughening, approx. CNY 40/kg. High purity, good compatibility.
In short: general CNY 14-17, high-styrene CNY 16-18, modified toughening CNY 35-40.
2. Why prices differ so much
Four factors: (1) Styrene content — 60% is cheap; 85% gives higher hardness and costs more. (2) Purity — industrial grade is cheap; modified toughening grades need high purity or compatibility suffers. (3) Processing — general grades suit vulcanization and are cheap; modified grades suit plastics blending and cost more. (4) Brand and origin — for the same general grade, Zeon costs 10-20% more than domestic, paying for quality control and R&D.
3. Procurement pitfalls
The cheapest material often gives insufficient sole hardness or poor toughening, causing returns. Three traps to avoid:
First, test styrene content and Mooney viscosity against the COA instead of trusting the grade name. Second, watch for substitution: some traders sell ordinary SBR as HSBC or low-styrene as high-styrene; demand the COA, a styrene-content test and original packaging. Third, calculate total cost: A at CNY 14/kg with a 5% defect rate vs. B at CNY 17/kg with 1% — B is cheaper per part.
4. Standard grades not enough? Consider custom solutions
If you need high hardness AND high elasticity, toughening AND high purity — you need a custom compound. Ningbo Kolong New Materials is developing high-performance HSBC-based solutions covering toughening, high hardness and high elasticity. Message us for a quote reference.
In plain terms: standard grades are a big pot of shared rice; modified compounds are a dish cooked to order.
5. Same-day quotes via message
HSBC prices change daily — styrene, butadiene and exchange rates all move. Message us for same-day quotes on specific grades from Zeon, Eni or domestic producers; real numbers.
Final words
The gap between CNY 14 and CNY 40 is not CNY 26. Unit price is the threshold; choosing the right styrene content and application is the baseline. Do the math per part, add rejected-goods loss, and you will know who is truly cheap.
