Honestly, anyone asking "how much is ASA per kilo" probably has not yet understood that ASA is not a single material — general-purpose, weather-resistant, heat-resistant, high-flow and glass-fiber-reinforced grades each carry a different price. Comparing a general-purpose quote with an automotive grade is not price comparison; it is how you get fooled.

3. Procurement pitfalls: don't let weatherability fool you
I have seen too many buyers end up choosing the cheapest CNY 12 material after endless price comparison, only to have outdoor parts yellow within half a year, trigger customer returns — one loss enough to buy half a year of good material.
Procurement of ASA is deeper water than you think. Three traps must be avoided:
First, test heat deflection temperature and melt flow index instead of trusting the grade name. Performance of the same grade can fluctuate between batches. Test HDT and melt flow against the COA before use. Don't listen to salespeople saying "close enough" — close enough is far apart.
